Election Officials Promote National Voter Registration Day at High Schools

The Atlantic County Superintendent of Elections & Commissioner of Registration is launching an outreach initiative for Atlantic County public high schools. On Tuesday, September 24, Atlantic County Superintendent of Elections & Commissioner of Registration, Maureen Bugdon, is encouraging youth age 17 years and older to register to vote.

Informational flyers and voter registration forms will be distributed to students with the cooperation of the Atlantic County Superintendent of Schools Office. County election officials and representatives of the League of Women Voters will be available to provide additional assistance upon request.

The offices of the Superintendent of Elections will provide extended hours and will be open 8 AM to 6 PM at 1333 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City and at 5920 Main Street in Mays Landing.

This outreach is in recognition of National Voter Registration Day.
